The popular Kiddie Car Classic Collection began in 1992. In 2001, the last eight cars were issued and all "active issue" cars were retired in 2001.
Kiddie Car Classics are NOT ornaments;these limited or numbered edition vehicles began as die cast replicas of the vintage Pedal Cars of yesteryear. Throughout the years of issue, Hallmark expanded the line to include other small vehicles of childhood; such as those issued in the Sidewalk Cruisers line and Custom Kiddie Cars created in the minds of the Hallmark artists. In 1997 nostalgic settings were added to the collection to offer avid fans creative display settings.
Kiddie Car Classics were produced in two sizes: regular size and miniature. Average size for regular sized Kiddie Cars is approximately 4" H x 7" L x 3" W. Average size for miniature Kiddie Cars is 2" H x 4" L x 1½" W.
